Homemade Doughnut Holes

Happy Thanksgiving all!! I hope you spent this day with your families, eating lots of good food and being grateful. :) I had hot pot with my parents and grandparents for lunch and then just ate some fried rice for dinner with my parents. We were also all in our pajamas. I guess instead of turkey and the classics, this is my family tradition...

I had this urge to make some doughnuts today just like I used to. Brought out the sweet dough recipe and fried up some little doughnut holes! Then used the awesome brown paper bag trick to cover them with cinnamon sugar and orange zest. Of course they're not Krispy Kremes, but they're pretty darn good homemade doughnuts for when you're craving some!

Right now I'm debating what time I should head out to go Black Friday shopping. The malls are opening around midnight..but I kind of just want to sleep haha. We'll see!
