Morning glory

It's always a pleasure on a still, warm morning, just after 7 am, to wander around and smell the smells and enjoy the sights of what my garden has to offer.

This morning, the beauty of this lavender, catching the early morning light, particularly caught my attention.

Today was an up and down kind of a day. Now I've flat-lined and I'm okay. Just calm.

Two whole days ahead of me to do what I want need to do. Which is to relax.

I did some clearing out of my classroom today. Old cassette tapes and video tapes. Floppy disks (which made the two kids helping me laugh). Maybe with the old rubbish will go some of the stress and at the back of the empty cupboard I'll find my enjoyment hiding away.

It felt good though. I think I may have to do some of that in my own cupboards at home this weekend.

Off out for tea after walking the dog, so I'd better get to it.
