Fried Ice Cream
Fried ice cream was a first for me today. It was delicious. First we scooped balls ice cream into the middle of a slice of white bread. Then we wrapped the bread around the ice cream scoop and wrapped the whole thing in foil. The wrapped ice cream balls went back into the freezer to become super cold. When it was time to cook them, we heated a pan of oil to supper hot, unwrapped the foil from the bread/ice cream balls, and dropped the bread-wrapped ice cream into the oil. About five seconds later, the bread was toasted and we pulled the bread-wrapped ice cream balls out. Each was drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauce and devoured! :)
