THE WRITING ON THE WALL...

As I mentioned earlier this week, I was on leave when the students protested against increased university tuition fees in Whitehall on Wednesday. I was gutted to miss this event!

I returned to work this morning to find the exterior walls of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office daubed with graffiti... This is the "clean" version - there were some very uncomplimentary remarks about the Deputy Prime Minister on another part of the building (!)

This shot was taken at about 0800; but by the time that Alex and I went to lunch, the walls had been cleaned and the words had gone.
