Gas turbines in the rain

You might have noticed it rained today,well in Scotland anyhow.
These gas compression turbines are near where I live. They are strange monolithic structures surrounded by trees pumping gas to the homes of millions. After 9/11 the site got B security status. Good if there's heavy snow though as the road gets cleared first.
