Student Protest - I was there

I was proud to be among the 50,000 people who marched through London to show our disgust at the proposed rise in tuition fees from £3000, to £9000.

I was not at Millbank, but we saw the fires as we walked past. I support peaceful protesting and I appreciate the value of having our right to free speech.

However, I do support the violence in some ways and I know people who were in the building. Everyone is angry, we have been lied to, the people want to take some power back so something has to give.

We will not just sit back and let this happen.
