A silver spoon

While the handle of this soup spoon is very pretty with grape clusters on it, the bowl of the spoon tells the story. The obvious wear (teeth) marks scarring it from years of service. If you were to look down on it from above, the left side of the bowl is worn off some, so that it is no longer oval shaped. Right handed people they were. My ancestors. I have 5 spoons that belonged to my great-great aunt Alice. They are all similarly worn. Today was such a wet and miserable one, that I had to find something to shoot indoors. This is it. I'm challenging myself to blip every day. We will see...
