There's a dutch girl in the sky
Too many snowy/wintry/cold pictures on Blip today, so I've decided to change my image to one from the Scottish Dry-tooling series at Ratho this afternoon.
This strong Dutch competitor took away first prize for the day.

You don't even need the snow in shot to feel the wintriness of today.
The white stuff always seems to come on days when I travel away for the evening. Last night I was at Geoffreys for a CityofDreams party. As I arrived the snow was threatening, as I left it was a thick blanket. My Blip yesterday was the effect that driving for an hour had on the nose of my car. It looked ready to sneeze with all that snow tickling the radiator grille...
I know quite a few folk who have headed to Liverpool for the weekend, involved in the climbing comp there today. Hopefully they saw the forecast, and set off early. Hopefully they aren't in a rush to return...
Waking up today, the snow clouds are a distant memory, and the clear skies promise to keep the dusting on the ground throughout the day. I might go out in a bit (once I've finished a few wee jobs), and throw some snowballs at passing youths. That'll be fun ;)
