Light dusting of snow
I climbed out of bed this morning to see a sprinkling of snow on the ground. It is very localised, however if it freezes over it will be hazardous. This weather brings such a stillness to the countryside, I love it.
Myself and Chep went for a stroll, leaving the other dogs at home. He is getting very old and it was a very leisurely pace. The low sun never touches the local access road, it is in a hollow and remains frozen long after the snow and ice has disappeared. We walked up through the fields, watching the sun warm the distant trees.
Chep is a very loyal and special friend. As the saying goes: the more people I get to know, the more I love my dog. :-)
