Three Texels

I headed out to Stenness in the snow. The clouds were great, except when the blizzards blanked them out. The flying snow was so fine it was like white smoke.
I took some photos at the Stenness stone circle. These three sheep were in there too. They seemed to think that I had arrived with food for them. They are Texels, quite hardy-looking. I took as many photos of them as I did of the stones. I stopped briefly at the bird-hide at Barnhouse, but didn't want to waste the light, so carried on up the road and round Brodgar. I stopped during a blizzard to make coffee in the lee of Salt Knowe before heading back along the road.More photos here.
