Christmas Hell

One of the national pet stores over here does these pet photos for Christmas. I think that this qualifies for Christmas Hell on so many levels.

For a start, spare a thought for poor old Santa. It's the middle of Summer over here, the poor beggar is dressed up in a big red suit, large itchy beard, topped off with a bobble hat. The temperature is in the late 20s (degreee Celcius).

Then think of the pet, who not only has to suffer the humiliation of being dressed up, (optional) but they also have to sit on this sweaty Santa's knee. It would be Christmas Hell for Cousteau as he would get told off for biting the beard or licking Old Nick's face.

It would also be Christmas Hell for the recipient of any of these photos, who do you like so little that you would send them a photo of your pet with Mr Claus?

Anyway, unfortunately Santa wasn't in store when I visited so I didn't get to watch him try to get a 32kg Cousteau to pose while sitting on his knee. I've just thought who I could give the photo to as a Chrimbo pressie!
