For the past couple of winters, I've tried to get a sledge for the kids (and me) but always leave it until the snow is well established and thus all sledges sold out.

We've been scoping out for a couple of days now and luckily on the first snow day of the year, managed to secure a sledge.

We celebrated by taking some convoluted route via sledge and train back from Dalgety Bay.
