Morecambe by night.
I feel very lucky to live so close to this. Living by the sea (In southern France) is a life long ambition. This will have to do for now.... It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but i love how the seascape changes constantly.
Babies are with grandparents and boys with their dad tonight, so we have managed to get some stuff done. The hall floor is sanded, stained and varnished. The towels are being dyed as I type. We even managed to sneak in a quick meal a deux at the Chinese. However, it was far from romantic, too many staff, too close to the next table, bwing rushed through our meal. The list goes on. The food was delicious though, so it's take away next time for us!
Tomorrow we are meant to be carbooting, but their is snow on the ground and I suspect people wont bother. So, we are hopeing to slip in a cheeky trip to the German markets in Manchester and do some child free Christmas shopping. Oh, what utter bliss.
