Remember

This is the metal sculpture that stands next to the driveway at Snow Farm in Williamsburg, Massachusetts.

It was made by high school students who completed a residential crafting program there one summer. People, both adults and kids, from all over the world come there to learn weaving, or welding, or glass blowing, or mosaic, or photography, or... They stay in the dorms and study in the studios. And once a year there is a seconds sale, to raise money for the nonprofit organization that runs the program.

Today was my last day of helping with the sale. I worked in the jewelry room with my friend Lynda Christie, who is a marvelous jewelry designer.

We had fun! People were upbeat and friendly. A lot of Christmas shopping was going on.
