Snow

We had a light smattering of snow overnight, just enough to be pretty without causing any major problems. Somehow we didn't find time for a walk, but we did find time for a paint and glitter session (I was feeling brave!) to make Daddy a snow picture.

The other noteworthy occurrence today was H's first full blown, red-in-the-face, screaming tantrum in the middle of a crowded supermarket. I was close to picking him up and making a sharp exit, leaving the trolley behind, but caved in and quickly found a snack packet of mini gingerbread men, which miraculously instantly calmed him (amazing, the power of a snack to tame a toddler!). I figured Tesco would rather me open something I hadn't paid for than lose the benefit of a trolley full of shopping - or put off other shoppers with my unruly child! Perhaps I'll stick to the internet from now on though...
