It's the Red Cardinal Today!

We have mounted a feeder on the back side of a tree branch outside of our front window so we can get some good pictures of the wildlife here. Unfortunately, the squirrels get most of the feed. You can be sure that I will post some of those pictures soon. But for now, here is a picture of a red cardinal watching a squirrel eat all the choice seeds.

There seems to be several pairings of cardinals in our neighborhood and as you can see, they are very well fed.

I tweaked the color just a bit ~ removed some background color to bring up the red.
