Winter Afternoon

Looks damn near perfect to me! Dog, couch, fire, books! The fact that I still haven't made a start on my cards is hanging over me a tad, but I am struggling to ignore it.

Collected hundreds of bulbs this morning from Northern, who ordered them for me through the school's PTA. Have planted up a few pots to brighten up the end of the winter when there is still not much colour about. They are also a bit of an insurance policy so if the ones in the garden get blasted by the weather, with a bit of luck the ones in pots in the greenhouse might survive!

Right, off to sit by the fire with my book, while Ollie runs and twitches and woofs and wags his tail in his happy dreams.

Wild, wet, rotten weather can be a blessing sometimes!
