bleak, desolate, frosty

So, this is the stone that has pride of place on our Millennium Green - it was placed there by the villagers on the foundation of the green and has a little commemorative plaque on it's eastern face.

After a day of chores we went deliverg eggs round the village, taking photos on the way and this was Mrs BH's favourite. I hope she is not feeling all the things in the description, but sometimes it's good to remember how warm and cosy we really are.
