Uphill road sledging

It's been a proper wild day here on the east coast. Horizontal snow and sleet blowing hard off the north sea with lighting and thunder so lound is rattled the windows! A good day to be holled up in front of the stove.

Although we had snow last year, Rosie was a bit young to do some proper sledging. We made great advantage of the snow and went sledging on the steep slopes close to the house, running down towards the river.
Rosie found much excitment in sledging on the road, no cars in the way. In fact so much snow you couldn't tell where the pavement started.
