Fire and ice

A red hot sky meets the ice cold earth.

We've got a good covering of snow now and the temperature is well below freezing so its not going anywhere. More is forecast tonight and the cold snap is set to continue for the next week or so.

The sheep can't get to the grass so we're having to give them hay. Fortunately, we've got quite a lot in store as it could be a long winter. The sheep in the picture are our new Black Welsh Mountains - at least its warmer here than it was in Wales last night.
