Venus Rising
I stepped out onto the balcony to take this photo.
And stepped back in again.
The angle wasn't right, you understand.
So I took this image from, or should I say 'through' another window instead.
The cold snap has produced some crystal clear skies.
The photo reveals bright stars in the vicinity of Venus, the Morning Star, visible in the top right; I don't know if they will be reproduced at web-resolution.
The bright light at bottom left is, prosaically, a street lamp and not a harbinger that the Sun has left the main sequence and will rise today a Red Dwarf.
Clear crystal sky
Brings cloudless silver lining
