Apparently it snowed

No the council did not grit or plough the centre of Edinburgh.

To get to work this morning I dressed as if I was heading over Rannoch Moor. I slipped and slid and slushed my way through town to find that most folk outside Edinburgh had a 'mare trying to get into work. There were stories of buses that couldn't get up hills, and buses that couldn't get down hills. Buses that needed pushing and buses that simply stopped dead. At half past three they closed the office and sent everyone home. If it snows any more the office will be closed tomorrow....

Oh look it is still snowing.

Excuse me I have an exam to revise for.
