Pearly Everlasting.....

A few months ago, i posted this blip and as the seasons have changed, i have taken many shots of this beautiful little flower in it's many transformations.

I spent much of today organizing the food schedule for our annual meditation retreat, this upcoming weekend, here at Big Hill....there will be 18 of us, for 2 days so lots of food needs to be produced! Everyone contributes a meal or part of a meal, but it still means that i have to make sure we don't get oatmeal and salad 3 times a day, or too much chocolate cake and ice cream (nah, that would never happen, there's never too much of that stuff!). It is mostly in place now and wow, have we got some very yummy sounding dishes being prepared!

After spending so much time tied to the computer, I headed outside late afternoon, just before the sun was almost gone, around 4pm.....with my camera. I didn't get much further than the pond before it started snowing very heavily. I really wasn't in the mood to put up with this type of discomfort.....and besides which i was pretty happy with the few shots i'd taken of this lovely wee plant.
