Snow Day

Today I woke up and it felt like a whole skies worth of snow had fallen on to Edinburgh. I looked out my window and discovered the telephone wires were completely covered and snake like. Absolutely gorgoeus they were too. I've never seen that before.

Trekked to work, only to be sent home again, homemade soup, and sledgeing!

I love the snow because of:

People are much chattier on the bus
Getting to work feels like an adventure
It's ok to wear a silly hat
Nearly taking out small children whilst sledgeing, it is exhilerating rather than merely dangerous
Shrieking like an eejit whilst belly diving down a hill
Watching a film seems more justified when it's snowing outside
There's the possibility that tomorrow may be another snow day...
