Winter Wonderland

The area around Crafty Towers has been transformed into a Winter Wonderland that would give Narnia a run for it's money. For about an hour around lunchtime the snow stopped and the sun came out creating blue skies and shining white snow.

After Mr Crafty did a grand job of clearing a lot of snow from in front of the house yesterday we woke up this morning to find that all that snow and more had taken it's place. I attempted to get the car out of the drive but managed to get all of about one foot forward, that combined with no buses running and me not walking to work in knee high snow resulted in an impromptu work from home day.

Upside is living in a Winter Wonderland, downside is I'm due to fly out to New York early on Wednesday morning and not being able to get out of my street, then there's the fact that Edinburgh airport has been closed more than it has been opened and today's equivalent flight eventually got cancelled in the afternoon, trying to remain calm and positive, it's not really working.
