I don't blame them

Spotted these birds flying south for the winter. Don't blame them really; seems like the sensible thing to do at the moment!

I didn't even attempt to head in to work today

Snow-related linkage:
* Going nowhere - The ownerof this car cleared it of snow using their jacket sleeve, then got in, started the engine, couldn't move, then got out again holding their phone. Must have been a call to the office to say they wouldn't be in.
* Anyone for lunch in the garden? - I'm surprised the table hasn't collapsed. I thought about clearing it, but I'm leaving it as an expermiment to see how deep the snow piles up on top of it.
* Blue skies ahead?, promptly followed by...
* More snow
