1992-she was 12 years old. I didnt know her at that age-in fact I wouldn?t meet her until about 16 years later. I wonder if at that age-people would have had guessed how she has turned out today. Did they think she would be married to her college sweat heart-now with 3 kids living on the east coast as a stay at home mom? Maybe that?s what her family had hoped for. Maybe that?s what she had hoped for. Did they think she would independent and career-minded. Never finding the time to marry.

12 years old with endless possibilities ahead of her. I wonder what she thought she would be doing today. Maybe she wanted to travel the world? Her world at that time was probably places her parents only told her about or saw in pictures. Places she daydreamed that were perfect-anywhere but where she was. Do you think she thought of settling down at 30 and maybe having kids? Did she even have a plan in mind of what she wanted to do with her life yet? 12 years old.

Or was her thoughts focused on growing up? Wondering what happens next. A teenager. Worried about saying the wrong thing at school in front of her friends. Terrified to be different. I wonder if she even thought about boys. Did she have her first crush yet?
