Orchid on Ice....

Thank you to everyone who expressed concern for me yesterday.. i was really touched.... Am home and ok.. just awaiting results but i am hoping for positive ones.....
No supposed to handle any machinery today - esp gas cooker & iron???? wonder if the camera counts??

anyhow a friend gave me this orchid stem and i have been wondering how to photograph it... so decided (4am) this morning to take it in the snow....

Found a patch of icy snow and although the sun wasnt shining i think it came out quite well..
added a touch or two in photoshop to give it a bit more glamour .....
