Sandhill Crane landing

Another in the series from Bosque Del Apache national wildlife refuge trip. Every year in November Bosque hosts " The Festival of the Cranes". This celebrates the return of the sandhill cranes to Bosque. This image shows a sandhill crane landing in the cornfields. They spend most of the day in the cornfields feeding.
