I'm pleased to report that we have a healthy population of house sparrows at the moment. For years we didn't see any at all, then three or four years ago they started nesting in the neighbour's honeysuckle arch.

Now that the leaves have gone from this hawthorn we get a good view of our cheeky sparrahs!
