Front door with a view

This is the time of year that most adults groan at the prospect of salt and shovels and frozen locks but I seem to wake up and become more alert.

I love the light that comes with snow. The cold, just put on another layer or two! I am a great believer in the statement of no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing.

True, the short days get to me but the stark beauty of the snow and the bare trees does go quite a long way to making up for it.

If you hate snow, then I'm sorry, but you probably like hot weather where I'm not so keen on it!
