Christmas shopping

The weather is still awful, raining and cold, so we went shopping to El Corte to get my Christmas present (new dressing gown), the assistant kindly wrapped it and it is ready to go under the tree!!! (I think not). I also got a new pair of ski trousers, lightweight and lined so no need for thermals. Looking forward to skiing, the Sierra Nevada has already had a good dump of snow, so hopefully it will be good skiing this year.

Tonight whilst making mince pies I noticed my work surface had a layer of brick dust on it. On asking Roy why? he said that as he had finished cutting all the tiles he thought he would clean the wizzer (technical term), he did it in the kitchen, plugging it in and turning it on whilst holding the blade over the sink, thinking that all the dust would collect in the sink, sometimes his brain doesn't always engage. I was at the gym whilst all this was happening. After washing all the tiles in the kitchen last week and putting up clean curtains I now have to do the whole kitchen again and take down the curtains and put yet another pair of clean ones up. Men!!!!
