Imperious
Yesterday I was Blipless In London, a combination of a lack of opportunity and a lack of inspiration, so today I was determined to make sure that I didn't miss another day.
This is a statue of Emperor Constantine The Great who was proclaimed Augustus not far from this spot outside York Minster. He reversed the persecutions of Christians by his predecessor, Diocletian, and issued the Edict of Milan 313 which proclaimed religious tolerance of Christians throughout the Empire.
I also wanted to record a snowless blip but even Constantine had some on his lap.
A happy St Andrew's day to all.
