First snow

It has arrived. As forecasted the snow has made its way from the north down to the south causing huge interruptions everywhere in Great Britain. I don't really get why as we have snow where I am from and life just carries on. Roads are cleared and schools stay open. We should have been so lucky to stay at home because of snow. Everybody is responsible for clearing the pavement in front of their house and they will do it, making it much easier for everybody to get to their destination.
