Early Morning on Swifts Hill

Cycled back home from Bisley through snow covered lanes,

steep down through Catswood and Elcombe, looking across

Slad Valley into Laurie Lee country. Thinking of Dennis Gould

our long time lodger, poet and cyclist and his love of these lanes.
