IT'S MINE!!

The variety of birds in the garden this morning has been wonderful and extremely entertaining. We have had Wood Pigeons hovering like Harrier Jump Jets not sure whether to land on the bird tables and risk falling off, and Ring Necked Doves landing heavily on the tree branches sending a cascade of snow onto the poor unsuspecting Greenfinches below!

I chose this photograph though because I really like the wayin which the Great Tit is apparently 'shouting' at the Starling and obviously staking it's claim to the feeder with the Fat Balls in it. Definately a nano-second in time captured on film on a cold snowy Wednesday morning.
