Winter Wonderland

After abandoning the car because of the dangerous road conditions, I caught the bus to work. The traffic was horrendous, and about 3/4 of the way there, I got off the bus and walked the rest of the way to work.

The weather didn't improve, so I'm really glad I took the bus!

About 11.00am, my daughter's school texted to say they were closing immediately, and all children were to be collected asap. Panic, panic, no car!

Fortunately, the bus came within minutes, so I was at school within half an hour. We had a bracing walk home, and hot Vimtos were in our hands within a few minutes of getting in.

The shot above was taken on a cycle path close to our home. This afternoon, we had a long 'welly walk' into town, down the path.
