Recovery

After a fantastic night last night which actually finished this morning! We recovered with a hearty breakfast, jacuzzi and swim at the hotel. It has to be said that when you are happily under the influence of white wine... having a choice of which of the 2 double beds in your hotel room your going to sleep in is not easy... I think it was the nearest one we fell on in the end.

We ended the morning with a coffee with friends N & M who'd also stayed which was lovely had a good yarn and then headed off in different directions. Them home across the river us to my Mums to drop something off, as we did so everything turned blizzard like and got more than a little hairy! We didn't stay long at Mums and set on our journey back south, this photo is the M180 near Scunthorpe! It took us 2 hours to get from the Humber Bridge to Woodall Services (approx junction 29) on the M1... Then another 2 hours back home to Daventry 4 hours in total! The journey normally only takes 2.5hours!

Pizza and bed were the order of the day after that!
