Blue Britannia

Rain, sleet, snow, darkness a terrible day - but it was brightened up by a visit to the Official Birthday of Ms Bella. where the Earl of Berwick performed a new poem he had written on the Occasion of the Birth.

Then we dashed down to the bookshop to get a good read. Donald is a great cowboy reader so I got his recommendation, The Border Trilogy by Cormac McCarthy.

So tonight it's cosy times, salmon & cream with pasta, a glass of wine and a good book for afters.
