Testing, testing...

These are exciting times in the Rutherford household! The business is getting up and running, slowly, and I've taken a break from photoshoots to get my samples, website, stationery, office, books* etc sorted.

In the midst of all that, I've taken my first booking for a wedding!! It's in February next year and I am sooooo excited. Today I visited the venue and met up with the bride and groom. We had a wander around the grounds, loads of great photo locations so I'm a happy bunny on that front. But.. the ceremony and reception will be held in a barn, so it is dark! This was just a test shot to see what the light was like inside the barn. I'll be able to use flash at the reception but I'm going to need high ISO and fast lenses for the ceremony, so glad I bought the 5D now, this really is what it was made for :)





*haven't actually done the books yet, really really need to!
