STICKLE TARN

Under the Eastern face of Harrison Stickle, we find the tarn, only about 50m deep and beginning to freeze over. This can be reached within one hour of the New Dungeon Ghyll car park. Though the weather looks ok in this shot...it was certainly not a day to loiter with the gloves off.
