Ice Ice Baby...

Another Bridge shot (the same bridge as yesterday) but this time looking down from it.

You can see the snow on the exposed ground that the bridge stands on, but you can also see that a triangular shaped wedge of ice is forming - this is the upstream side of the bridge, so I find this quite interesting. I suspect there is a rock at the tip of that wedge, from which the ice is building downstream.

There are some other patches of sheet ice forming off to the sides - the water is quite shallow here (you can see the pebbles on the river bed if you look closely).
