Sprites

There may be a school of thought which states don't take long exposures of lights but I can't help but be fascinated by the effect they cause.

I also like the free form effect caused by taking them on the move and without a tripod.

It creates an abstract effect that I quite like. Others have done it much better but I'm sort of sadly proud of some of them - it's like I have no control over the output of the camera and it's all determined by my location and what comes by.

Tried taking some crane against the night sky shots of the massive new hospital they're building here in Bristol but it wasn't quite the night!
