Frozen shore

The pool is frozen except for a couple of places where the ducks and swans can get a drink and a paddle!

This is the shore which I blipped here.

I actually remembered to take the bread I forgot yesterday and some more peanuts and seed to feed the ducks, coots and gulls - the swans didn't seem interested today.

Yesterday I omitted to ask the question which I would love answered - Why don't ducks stick to the ice?
