Icicles
More crash, bang, wallop noises today as snow slid from the roof of the house onto the garage below. Made everyone clearing their drives in the street stop and come over to make sure everything was OK. There's a bit of concern about it sliding down overnight onto Mrs P's car, but if it does then it will be yet another car this year for her!
We're not alone; others with sides that catch the sun were also afflicted with the same sudden crash of snow & ice. Oldies called to say same had happened at their house in Dundee and that Granny S had called the fire brigade! Swear she's getting madder as she gets older; no way i was getting into why she thought that was the right thing to do...
Looks about a ton of snow I've to shift from the garage roof tomorrow. Good old Screwfix, found a long handled wide metal shovel online tonight, will be available for pickup at 12 tomorrow. Not looking forward to the amount of snow I've to clear round the house with it....neighbour was saying hes cleared his drive & paths 4 times now.
Took this out of Pesky Princesses window before it fell to the ground too. If it stops snowing long enough tomorrow i want to get a shot of my neighbours icicles...hes got one that's about half a foot wide and 3 foot long just dangling above his doorway. Will blip it then help him knock it down ;)
