This was the calmest photo I took today. The area is undergoing a beautification programme that will take months. Years even. It's all very dusty and unpleasant but still busy with hawkers selling tat.

A colleague has come out for a conference, so after a heavy night, I wisked her around the shops and pointed out one or two places of culture on the way. Time is limited, so the shops win! A snooze now before dinner later. Back to the grindstone tomorrow.
