Although our roof has as much snow on it as others nearby our lack of insulation has singled us out by the formation of more icicles. Hopefully the recently-attended-to gutters can cope with it. I should have knocked them off after spotting them and taking their picture but was feeling too off-balanced today to attempt to lean out of the window too much, despite having sufficient opportunity by being at home all day after getting very little sleep (due to it being day three of weaning the wingpiglet out of bringing him in the big bed when he starts threatening to wail the neighbours awake) and got up (not really awoke, seeing as I'd not properly got back to sleep after eventually jiggling him to sleep and achieving a rare success in getting him to remain asleep when placed back in the cot) with yesterday's mild nose-discomfort transformed into distinctly unpleasant sinus-pain and yesterday's slightly achey hip-joints transformed into general joint-pain and shiveriness. I remotely signed in and did some stuff other people might have ended up waiting for from home after calling in sick but did so whilst wearing several layers including a pair of thick socks, which doesn't happen very often.
