Headstone

First day out in Cape Cod saw me heading out with no particular destination in mind. I just wanted to get out of the house. I was not enamoured by the facilities. One full bathroom shared by five adults is not my idea of fun. Throw in two guys clearing leaves from the yard with the incessant sound of petrol-powered blowers and my nerves were well and truly on edge.

By the time my wife and I ventured out, the sun had disappeared by ever thickening cloud.

We happened to see an old graveyard next to the Union Church of Dennis. It seemed a good as place as any to start taking photographs.

I particularly liked the yellow of the lichens against the grey stone.
