Our snowy street

Snow still persisting today! When oh when are we ever going to get rid of all this white stuff? Our street is full of it. Pavements are impossible to walk on and the roads are hazardous.

John and I decided a trip into Stirling would be in order today..... by bus and not car. Off we set as if we were going on a major trek. Waterproof jackets, walking boots, walking sticks and back -packs. We only had to go out of our street across a rather busy road to get to the bus stop. However on either side of the road the snow is about three feet deep. We could see Rona watching us from the window wondering to herself what we were up to.

Once into Stirling we had rather a successful morning, buying some Christmas gifts, cards and supplies from M and S. John treated himself to a pair of gaiters which will be invaluable in this weather.
