Removing icicles

Roy, our local window cleaner did his bit for Health and Safety in the village today using his ladder to remove the hanging icicles from the gutters above.

Some of the more impressive specimens measured at least a metre long.

If one of these beauties landed on your head..........you'd know nothing about it! What a way to go!!! Killed by an icicle.

Drove into the village for emergency supplies.

Bill taught me how to do a 'doughnut' with the car in our snow covered yard as it was the only way out..........woo hoo!!!
